From the Forbidden City to Your Home

Gui Ling Ji Tonic Wine has been liquid gold to 18 generations of China’s Ming and Qing emperors since AD 1522, treasured for its health and longevity benefits. Emperor Qian Long (AD1711 – 1799), China’s longest-living monarch, regarded it as the “first amongst all tonics”. He declared that “not a day should pass without taking (Gui Ling Ji)” (不可一日不用). As a testimonial, he lived to the ripe old age of 89 years old, 3 times longer than the then average lifespan of 30 years.

What’s in a Name?

Gui Ling Ji had its name bestowed upon by Emperor Jia Jing of the Ming Dynasty. “Gui Ling” (龟龄) translates as “tortoise age”, a reference to the tortoise’s mythical lifespan of 10,000 years, encapsulating Gui Ling Ji’s longevity enhancing properties. “Ji” () means “assemble”, symbolizing the gathering of the best herbs for their vitality boosting benefits.

Prime Ingredients & The Tao Alchemy Formulation

  •  Gui Ling Ji contains 20 rare and valuable herbs, selected based on the Tao Alchemy Formulation, and harvested only in their prime.

  • These herbs are infused in a high-grade white wine called fen jiu, one of four famous Chinese wines.

  • Studies show that people with moderate alcohol intake have reduced total mortality rates, blood pressure, blood insulin, blood clotting and coronary heart disease risk, as well as improved coronary blood flow, blood lipid profile and estrogen levels compared to non- and heavy drinkers.

  • Gui Ling Ji factories employ the ancient Tao Alchemy Formulation technique, modernized recently to meet GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) standards. It takes two weeks to produce just one batch, ensuring the highest quality in each cupful.
