Product Summary
Fight the Influenza A
H1N1
Virus (Swine
Flu)
Over 80%
of all infectious illnesses are spread by hand contact including the H1N1
(swine flu) pandemic that is now a major health threat worldwide. As such,
good hand hygiene is important in preventing infections and transmissions.
Key Benefits
-
Kills 99.9%
of
Microbes (bacterial, viruses and fungi) upon contact, including the
H1N1
Influenza A virus (swine flu), H5N1 virus (avian
flu),
SARS, MRSA bacteria (SuperBug) etc, as tested by CIBA labs.
-
6-Hr
Sustained Protection against Microbes – Our special ingredient Triclosan
continues to kill microbes 6 to 8 hours after hand application, even with
up to 4
hand washes.
-
Moisturizers Added –
Frequent use of alcohol-based hand sanitisers dry the hands which could
lead to Irritant Contact
Dermatitis. Germ Killer3 contains two powerful
Moisturizers, Sodium PCA & Glycerin, preventing the skin from peeling and
becoming inflamed.
-
Non-toxic
even if accidentally swallowed in small quantities.

FREQUENTLY
ASKED QUESTIONS
Why
choose Germ Killer3?
-
Germ
Killer3 has been preventing hand-to-hand transmission of
diseases for more than 10 years, with a proven track record in
antimicrobial (anti-bacterial, anti-viral and anti-fungal) action that
kills 99.9% of bacteria, viruses and fungi upon contact, including the
H1N1 (swine flu) virus. Its three alcohols – denatured, isopropyl and
ethanol – are three of the safest and most researched alcohols with broad
spectrum antimicrobial action.
-
Germ
Killer3 rapidly kills a wide range of viruses, gram-positive
bacteria, gram-negative bacteria, moulds and yeast including H1N1 (swine
flu) virus, SARS, H5N1 (bird flu) virus, staphylococcus aureus,
streptococcus, escherichia coli, proteus, enterobacter, klebsiella,
candida yeast, antibiotic-resistant MRSA (Methicillin Resistant
Staphylococcus Aureus), Vancomycin-resistant bacteria, microsporum
species, trichophyton mentagrophytes etc etc.
-
More
importantly, Germ Killer3 contains Triclosan which unlike the
alcohols, remains active against a broad spectrum of pathogens, even after
the product has dried on your hands. As such, Triclosan continues to
protect you against infections 6 to 8 hours after each application, even
with up to 4 hand washes.

Non-sticky and Moisturizing formula
How does
Germ Killer3 Compare to Other Hand Sanitisers?
Hand
sanitisers used in hospitals typically contain
a) Alcohols + Triclosan or b) Alcohols + Chlorhexidine. Germ Killer3’s
Triclosan stacks up well compared to Chlorhexidine (see chart) as
substantiated by various clinical papers.

Is Germ
Killer3
safe?
Germ
Killer3 is as safe on the hands as soap and water. All
ingredients have been carefully selected for their effectiveness and good
safety record. It is non-toxic even if accidentally swallowed in small
quantities. However, if there is oral or eye contact, repeated rinsing with
water should be practiced. As Germ Killer3 contains alcohols, it
is flammable in the liquid form, but is non-flammable when dried.
Do I need
to use Germ Killer3 if I wash my hands properly?
Studies
have shown that the most effective regimen against antimicrobial activity is
using an antibacterial soap followed by a hand sanitiser containing alcohol.
Using Germ Killer3 on top of washing your hands will ensure that
you are doubly protected, with the additional benefit of sustained (6-hour)
protection against pathogens.
