Ling awards exclusive distribution rights for Malaysia to second board listed Hai-O
Group Hai-O Enterprise Berhad, www.hai-o.com.my , a group listed on the second board of the Kuala Lumpur stock exchange, will be the Malaysia partner of Xing Ling. Xing Ling, which holds the global (excl. China) distribution rights for the products of Topsun, China’s fifth largest pharma group, has awarded the exclusive rights for Malaysia for the GuangYuYuan range to Hai-O. The GuangYuYuan range comprises 108 products, including the blockbusters GuiLingJi and DingKunDan, 2 out of only 4 products in all of China which have the status of a National Heritage Product. GuangYuYuan’s products should have a good chance to also become blockbusters in the important Malaysian TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) market. Currently, the most recognized and most established TCM retail chain there with over 50 chain stores, Hai-O is well positioned to become an effective distribution channel for GuangYuYuan’s development. The registration for the first product, GuiLingji, a herbal tonic wine consumed by most emperors of China since 1541, has already been started with the Malaysian Health Ministry. The registration is expected to be completed by the end of Q1 2007. Guilingji should then be the first GuangYuYuan product to be sold in Malaysia. |
