Product Approvals for Mobix & Sixiao Wan Xing Ling International has received approvals from the Singapore health authorities for the import of two of its key products: i) Mobix, for arthritis and gout pain relief and ii) Sixiao Wan Indigestion & Constipation Relief Pills. Extensive scientific research on Mobix (复方赛隆胶囊，Fufang Sailong Jiaonang) shows that it has an efficacy many times higher than Glucosamine Sulphate, a popular joint supplement. Within five days, patients can begin to feel Mobix’s joint pain relieving effects. In comparison, Glucosamine Sulphate requires at least one month to see results. Given its quick efficacy, Mobix has immense potential in the TCM and General Practioner (GP) market where there is strong demand amongst elderly patients and even amongst sportsmen suffering from joint degenerative problems. Mobix, as a SCM (Scientific Chinese Medicine), models itself after the best treatment in TCM for joint pains and joint rebuilding – that of using tiger bones. Instead of further endangering the tiger, Mobix scientists have found the solution in the mountain mammal Myospalax Bailey (a common and non-endangered species), whose bone composition is a close match and an excellent substitute for that of the tiger, demonstrating equivalent efficacy and pharmacodynamics. Mobix also contains two other ingredients, Herba Saussureae Cum Flore and Flos Carthami. It is effective against the symptoms of osteo and rheumatoid arthritis including joint pain, inflexibility, back and knee weakness, numbness of limbs, joint inflammation, channel blockage due to chill and dampness and knee pain caused by arthritis associated with a deficiency in the liver and kidneys. Mobix boasts a treatment efficacy of 90.33% and has minimal side effects. Sixiao Wan （四消丸）translates as “Getting Rid of the Four Stagnations”, in relation to indigestion and constipation. As such, it is used in the treatment of the stagnation of i) qi (vital energy), ii) food, iii) phlegm and iv) body fluid. It is effective against indigestion, diaphragmatic fullness and oppression, pain due to abdominal distention, as well as constipation. It reduces fluid retention, improves digestion, reduces bloatedness, relieves flatulence, expectorates phlegm and eases constipation. As such, Sixiao Wan serves as an ideal herbal remedy for people who suffer from chronic stomach problems, who prefer the gentler, herbal nature of TCM, as opposed to the harsher, chemical intervention that often characterizes Western drugs.
